Because the United States is one of the most successful and innovative superpowers in the world, most of our population is generally unaware of the prevalent poverty that makes up 13.5% of the population unless they are living in it from day to day. The major goal of our website is to educate the visitors on how poverty is one of the biggest issues in our country. Hopefully, the visitors of our website will take the information and decide to do something to help bring an end to poverty.

The secondary goal of our website is to connect those who are in poverty with the resources/services that they need. If more people are aware of the resources that are provided to them, they have a greater chance of escaping poverty and obtaining a better life for themselves and their family members. Therefore, under the tab resources, we list multiple organizations who each provide better opportunities for those in need.
